Activation & Safety Devices

Motion Activation Sensors

Thanks to uni-directional radar technology, the door opens smoothly and comfortably. When placed above the hinges, the sensor ignores the closing movement of the doors.

Detection Safety Sensors

Our compact laser sensor and active infrared sensor are designed to ensure the safety of people using swing doors. In the case of the laser sensor, one single module covers the entire door wing, including the hinge area, providing protection for objects as small as fingers.

Barriers

Our barriers are designed to guide pedestrian traffic and improve safety around automatic doors, helping to prevent accidental impact with door systems. Barriers support compliance with EN 16005 safety standards, making it ideal for commercial and public buildings.

Finger Guards

These devices are designed to prevent finger injuries at the hinge side of automatic swing doors. It features a roller blind system that maintains a constant tension, ensuring the fabric remains taut during door movement and preventing finger entrapment.

Test Bodies

Test bodies are designed for testing automatic doors, ensuring compliance with BS EN:16005 standards. Sporting a range of dimensions, our test bodies provide a reliable and accurate tool for door testing and verification.

Signage

As part of the risk assessment and where powered pedestrian doors are used by the generic public, warning signage is recommended. The inclusion of warning signage is to make users aware that potential risks are present and to help reduce the number of accidents associated with powered pedestrian doors.
