In a landscape where improved accessibility is becoming increasingly important; Automatic Access sits at the forefront of entrance innovation, providing DDA compliant automatic door solutions.
Over the last 12 months, we are proud to have completed two separate installations for The Foster Care Charity; a non-profit organisation dedicated to having a positive impact on children’s lives across the nation.
When the Foster Care Charity originally reached out to us, they enquired about replacing their rear entrance door with an automatic alternative to create easy access for visitors and staff.
After visiting the site, and discussing the requirements and options with the client, we provided a bespoke quotation for a new glass and aluminium entrance with automated swing doors.
We completed the installation in line with DDA compliance (disability discrimination act), BS EN 16005 and Building Regs Part M (for minimum effective clear widths of doors).
When asked why they decided to choose us to complete the project, The Foster Care Charity replied: “The price and speed of the response; they were very efficient and accommodating to a date that suited us.”
Always looking for ways to improve our service, we also asked if there was anything we could have done better. They replied: “No, the communication was excellent. Their engineers were informative, on time and friendly. It was perfect, exactly what you want from a business.”
After experiencing the advantages of the initial project, The Foster Care Charity reached out to us again to request a quote to replace an internal door with an automatic solution.
At Automatic Access, customer service and satisfaction are extremely important to us. We strive to go above and beyond at every stage, throughout all our projects.
We are delighted by the feedback received from The Foster Care Charity following both projects, which reinforces our core values and practices: “We were extremely happy with the installation of the previous doors and the exceptional way the engineers both installed and conducted themselves whilst they were here. They were both very professional and ensured minimal disruption to our working environment, along with being tidy and ensuring I was kept up to date with everything they were doing. We have obviously had many engineers at the office over the years for one thing and another and I’d have to say they were probably the best we have had on site, a real credit to the company.”.
