Anglia Healthcare has recently opened new, purpose-built premises, in the shape of a spacious 6,000 sq. ft showroom, where customers can try out the products before making their purchase.
The company approached Automatic Access when planning the refurbishment of the redundant building, with a view to transforming it into their new showroom. The medical supplier had a number of ideas for the premises, including plans to create a lobby entrance to the interior of the shop.
However, the lobby in its original form would have taken up a considerable part of the retail area, so Automatic Access proposed the installation of a bi-parting automatic door to the exterior only.
The customer had a roller shutter inside, which we offered to remove and replace on the exterior of the building. This would provide security when the premises were closed. Our proposal provided much more space than the original plan to have two sets of doors.
Anglia Healthcare was delighted with our space-saving proposal and the work was completed as planned, leading to the opening of the new showroom on schedule. It has provided the medical supplier’s customers with an improved service and the opportunity to see the products in action first-hand.
